We at Fabulous Frames & Art are saddened to lose another friend, Cincinnati artist Edie Harper. We all felt a special affection for Edie, whose gentle demeanor and pixie smile were hard to resist. She was a lover of God’s creatures, both four- legged and two. Especially the ones that meowed! We’ll miss you, Edie, but we are happy to know that you and Charley are now together again!

For over 25 years, Fabulous Frames & Art has celebrated the life and works of the Harper family — Charley, his wife Edie, and their son Brett. We will continue the tradition this Saturday, December 5th, 11 AM until 5 PM. Join us for hot cider, holiday cheer, and the unveiling of new prints and other products at our Montgomery Gallery. Brett Harper will be on hand as part of this very special annual event. A brand-new Charley Harper print will also be given away to everyone who joins us this Saturday!

Charley Harper Christmas Tree Ornaments

We at Fabulous Frames & Art are pleased to announce the release of the latest Christmas tree ornament by the late, great Cincinnati artist Charley Harper. The American goldfinch, shown above, is the latest design in the growing series of collectible glass ornaments that have been released annually. The series of ornaments includes the ladybug, frog, trillium, butterfly, and of course many of Charley’s famous birds, including the cardinal, bluebird, woodpecker, and barn owl.

The event takes place 12-15 Nov. When Fabulous Frames & Art started carrying super-cute dog prints over a year ago, we had no idea just how popular they would become! Our downtown Cincinnati customers especially love the vintage aesthetic of dog-themed faux advertisements by Ken Bailey and Krista Brooks. We’ve just added another artist to our dog-centric roster: the talented photographer Amanda Jones.
