Rites of Spring: Findlay Market Opening Day Parade/Cincinnati Reds Opening Day Game vs. Miami Marlins

OPENING DAY! OPENING DAY! OPENING DAY! What an exciting phrase for baseball fans everywhere, especially here in the Queen City where the Reds (stockings/legs) have been thrilling spectators, initially as amateurs and then as the first-ever professionals, since 1866. Another long-standing tradition is the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade*, dating to 1920 and now in its 93rd year. Starting at 1:00 and ending at approximately 3:00, the parade will wend its way from Findlay Market to Fountain Square downtown. Former Reds player Aaron Boone is set to lead the festivities as Grand Marshal. The Reds take on the Miami Marlins at 4:10 at Great American Ball Park but the city-wide celebration will go on long into the night.

We sifted through our inventory and came up with a diverse assortment of Reds and Cincinnati themed artwork, all of which we carry at our downtown location (the assortment may vary at our other locations). Enjoy, and Go Reds!

* Check back tomorrow for the Parade route and parking details.
