At Fabulous Frames & Art, we’ve always carried a wide selection of prints of local interest, by artists such as Charley Harper, John Ruthven, Bev Erschell, John Stobart, Michael Blaser, and JoAnne Honschop. One of our favorite local artists is Myra Baumes, whose delicate watercolors of Cincinnati scenes are beautiful and filled with a soft light. Stop by our downtown location to see our selection of local art, including these framed limited-edition prints by Myra Baumes!
Locally acclaimed artist Bev Erschell has just released a new Cincinnati print of The Ascent, the new high-rise building in Covington designed by Daniel Libeskind. This image perfectly complements her series of iconic Cincinnati prints available framed or unframed, in two different sizes at Fabulous Frames & Art.
Cincinnati-based Edie Harper, the wife and long-time creative partner of Charley Harper, is an accomplished artist in her own right. Her whimsical style is at times quite similar to Charley’s, but her subject matter differs, especially in this series of Biblical illustrations that offer an unusual and thoroughly Modern approach to these stories. Fabulous Frames & Art offers a vast selection of Edie’s serigraphs and giclee prints.
Fabulous Frames & Art carries a selection of prints by prominent American artist G. Harvey, depicting historic images of urban life. With all the recent talk of building a streetcar line through downtown Cincinnati, it’s especially great to see Harvey’s depictions of old-time trolleys.
