The artist Charley Harper was a Modern Minimalist, renowned for his ability to capture quirky aspects of birds and animals in the wild through his use of precise geometry. But, Charley loved domesticated animals as well, and today here at Fabulous Frames & Art, we’d like to show you some of his personality-filled prints of dogs and cats.
Cincinnati-based Fabulous Frames & Art is a family-owned business that is primarily known for two things — we are the world’s largest dealer in the artwork of Modern artist Charley Harper, and we have a reputation for our impeccable expertise in custom-framing even the most complex projects. Increasingly, we are becoming known for our ever-growing collection of dog prints representing many breeds and varied illustration styles. Most recently, we have added a selection of these vintage-inspired dog and cat prints by artist John W. Golden.

We are extremely pleased to announce the release of several new prints from the Charley Harper Art Studio! Fabulous Frames & Art is the world’s largest dealer of artwork by Charley Harper. In honor of this new release, the downtown gallery of Fabulous Frames & Art has put together another large display of dog prints large and small, vintage and contemporary. Has anyone been watching Greatest American Dog on CBS? It’s a sweet show — competitive reality TV without the usual nastiness and drama. The challenges tend to be somewhat silly, and the interactions between the dogs and their owners are interesting. The best part may be the home — a huge estate decked out in dog-themed everything, including fire hydrant topiary out front. The interior features dog art, including the above poster by Ken Bailey. Fabulous Frames & Art downtown currently features a selection of Bailey’s framed posters, and many more can be ordered through us.
