Cincinnatians, stop by the Fabulous Frames & Art downtown gallery at 17 West 4th St. to see a display of originals paintings by acclaimed Cincinnati-area artist JoAnne Honschopp. From Over-the-Rhine’s Music Hall to the Roebling Bridge, from riverboats to the Genius of Water (the Tyler Davidson Fountain), JoAnne captures her subjects in bold brushstrokes and vivid colors. Her work is the perfect antidote to our dreary winter weather!
JoAnne Honschopp studied fine art at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and later at Yale University. She also spent time in Europe as a Wilder Scholar before setting up her studio in the Pendleton Art Center in Cincinnati. She is well-known for her vividly colored and richly textured paintings and prints of Cincinnati landmarks such as the Roebling Bridge, Union Terminal, Paul Brown Stadium, riverboats, and the downtown Cincinnati skyline.
In addition to the current display of original paintings, Fabulous Frames & Art also carries a selection of JoAnne’s framed prints. Here is a sampling of our offerings:
