Cincinnati-based Fabulous Frames & Art is a family-owned business that is primarily known for two things — we are the world’s largest dealer in the artwork of Modern artist Charley Harper, and we have a reputation for our impeccable expertise in custom-framing even the most complex projects. Increasingly, we are becoming known for our ever-growing collection of dog prints representing many breeds and varied illustration styles. Most recently, we have added a selection of these vintage-inspired dog and cat prints by artist John W. Golden.
John W. Golden is a contemporary illustrator, photographer and graphic designer who lives and works in Wilmington, North Carolina. After studying Graphic Design at Appalachian State University, he worked on projects for Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Animal Planet, HGTV, TNT, TBS and other major cable networks. In 1999, John launched John W. Golden Design, a multimedia design company specializing in design and illustration for the print, broadcast and web fields. In May of 2007, John began to concentrate solely on creating and selling art for his living.
Below are some of the other dog prints we carry. Our customers love being able to find an image that represents their beloved canine friend, and we are proud to carry images of many different breeds, showcasing the unique quirks and personality traits of each one.
We carry advertising-inspired illustrations by Ken Bailey and Krista Brooks, black-and-white photography by Amanda Jones, grungy photomontages by M. J. Lew, and Pop Art-infused illustrations by Ron Burns.
Of course, we have to point out that our best-selling artist Charley Harper created a lovely series of dog prints as well:
Charley’s talented wife Edie Harper was a cat lover who charmingly represented our feline friends in many of her prints:
